Addendum to the Supervisory Order on the Financial System of the Brcko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina

In accordance with paragraphs 10, 39, and 43 of the Brcko Final Arbitral Award of March 5, 1999; paragraph 8 of the Annex of August 18, 1999; paragraph 42 of the Statute of the Brcko District and in consultation with the High Representative, I hereby issue the following operational Addendum to the Supervisory Order dated April 13, 2000

  1. Pending agreement between the Government of the Brcko District and the Entities, electricity charges and contributions to the entity pension and health funds collected in the District shall not be diverted to the District;
  2. Any funds currently held in the above mentioned accounts of the payment bureaus located within the District shall be under the control of the entities and shall be distributed in accordance with the entity regulations and the payment bureaus agreements with third parties;
  3. The accounts of the payment bureaus attributable to public revenues of any of the three former municipalities now integrated in the Brcko District shall continue to be diverted to the District in accordance with the Supervisory Order of April 13, 2000;
  4. Pending agreement between the Government of the Brcko District and the Entities, the accounts of the payment bureaus attributable to public revenues of Cantons 2 and 3, or the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina which appear to be also attributable in part to any of the three former municipalities now integrated in the Brcko District shall continue to be frozen by the payment bureaus until further notice.

This Order shall have immediate effect.
