Supervisory Order on the Use of Land in Arizona Market

In accordance with paragraphs 36 and 37 of the Brcko Final Award of March 5, 1999, paragraph 3 of the Annex of August 18, 1999 and Articles 70 and 71 of the Statute of the Brcko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina;

In furtherance of the Supervisory Order dated November 16, 2000 on Arizona Market;

I hereby issue the following Order:

1. The public enterprises ODP “Posavina”- Brcko and DD “Posavina” – Brka, currently existing within the territory of the District shall cease to operate with immediate effect. The Government of the Brcko District shall take all necessary measures to protect the assets of those enterprises and shall within 45 days develop a plan for their dismantling.

2. All contracts concluded by ODP “Posavina”- Brcko and DD “Posavina” – Brka as well as other natural or legal persons with regard to the use of agricultural land in the area of Arizona Market shall be reviewed by the Government of the Brcko District within 45 days from the issuance of this Order.

3. All those contracts found by the Government of the Brcko District to be in violation of existing legislation regarding the use of agricultural land and the plan for the regularization and relocation of the Arizona Market provided in the Supervisory Order dated November 16, 2000 shall be repudiated.

4. This Order shall have immediate effect and will be published in the Official Gazette of the Brcko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
